GCPC Athlete Academy
The GCPC Academy Program is designed to prepare young promising athletes to thrive in sport.
The program runs per school term, offering athletes 3 strength and conditioning sessions a week. Our team of experienced, motivated, and engaging sports professionals will guide you to develop physical fitness, elite athlete behaviours and physical and mental well-being. Specific training can be undertaken to develop certain strengths for your sport of choice.
This program has been created based on feedback provided by elite sports professionals from various fields and encompasses the foundations required to build an all round strong athlete with skills to carry on into your preferred sports.

Structured strength and conditioning program
3 x weekly strength and conditioning sessions with a qualified coach.
Workshops
Tailored workshops for GCPC Academy members including nutrition and psychology.
Ice bath recovery
2 Recovery ice bath sessions per week.
Fitness testing
Testing to track athlete progression.

Monday: 4–5pm — Strength and conditioning
Tuesday: 4–5pm — Group recovery ice baths (self-facilitated)
Wednesday: 4–5pm — Strength and conditioning
Thursday: 4–5pm — Strength and conditioning
Friday: 4.00–4.30pm — Group recovery ice baths (self-facilitated)
